The upgrade to the M50 is that it includes an orthopedic belt and aluminum side rails. The side rails do nothing for the treadmill but perhaps make it look a little nicer. The “ortho” belt provides a little more cushioning and traction in the step.
SCHWINN 270 RECUMBENT BIKE
$699.00The Schwinn brand has gone through a number of changes over the past several years. Schwinn use to focus on making the best product on the market regardless of price. Years ago, the products had great construction with very simplified electronic consoles. Schwinn seems to now focus on the bells and whistles of the products, and while being very price conscious, they consequently cut corners on the “guts” of their machines.
Schwinn currently offers 4 different recumbent bikes. While we have access to all of their products, the model we stock is the Schwinn 270 Recumbent. While we dislike the large console, the 270 offers the most amount of quality over all their others.

The main reason people jump to the XE295 is that warranty is twice as much as the base model. The warranty on the 295 is 10 years on all parts. Over the base model, the 295 also has a larger flywheel, adjustable tilt foot pedals, integrated speakers, built in resistance controls into the moving handlebars, and a few more programs.

The E7 has been around for several years and has gone through some cosmetic changes over the years. Landice’s elliptical is certainly smooth but more noticeable is the very heavy duty construction. LandiceLandicesconfidence in their own product, they have stamped their ellipticals with a Lifetime Warranty on parts.The design of Landice’s E7 elliptical is one that we like very much. Landice has gone with a center drive design. Simply, the guts of the machine are at your right and left sides while you stride in the center. This design makes it easier to get on and off the machine. It keeps the user more vertical as opposed to being pitched forward or backward. On top of the center drive design, Landice has also made the machines so that stride length can be adjusted 17″ – 23″. To minimize cost and increase durability, the stride adjustment is something you do mechanically. The adjustment to change the stride takes about 30 seconds to do while standing off the machine.The Landice E7 is available with four different electronic console options.
